Solorun is a holding company created in 2005 by Jérôme Mouthon and Etienne Mouthon in order to hold their majority and minority participations in private companies in Europe and Moroco as well as help young entrepreneurs to develop their project by investing with them. Solorun investments are mostly companies active in new technologies. All Moroccan participations of Solorun and its French affiliates are developped and managed by Jérôme Mouthon.
Solorun always teams up with preferred partners (institutionnal investors or business angels) whom capabilities and expertise are complementary to those of the entrepreneurs and the Founders. Solorun has chosen Finatech in order to develop its Moroccan activities
(www.finatech.com) as well as Bertrand Quesada in order to develop ebuzzing
(www.ebuzzing.com).
In January 2008, Pierre Chappaz decided to invest in Ebuzzing, and became President of Ebuzzing further to the competition he had organized on his blog.
For all projects, the Founders focuse on the managers and their personallity as well as their hability to react positively in unfriendly and financially unsecure environments while keeping the fundamentals values of solidarity and team spirit. As former rugby players applying in their day to day life what they learned on the fields and from their coaches, the Founders continue to apply those values which are essential to the succes of all start up projects.
